About Me

At the age of 10, I watched my mother birth my youngest sister and I have been hooked on birth ever since. From then on, I found every opportunity to be in the delivery room with family members and friends. It wasn't until I had my daughter in 2017 and felt like my birthing experience wasn't my own that I decided to pursue my dreams. I searched and stressed for a class that was right for me but as a single mother, an active member of the Air Force and still trying to be there for friends and family through their experiences, I realized the military was no longer for me. In 2020, nearing the end of my military career I found Birth and Beyond Resources and went through them to pursue my certification as a Birth Educator as well as Birth and Postpartum Doula... And at this point in my life, there is no other place I would rather be!
